This Mig welder is for mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel with the appropriate gas and wire. The T196W Gas offers extra low current performance to delivers a unique 25A minimum power for welding very thin materials. The machine has a heavy-duty transformer - 152 amps @ 40% duty cycle from a 230v, 42 amp supply and is turbo fan cooled for increased duty cycle. The welder has thermal overload for maximum safety - guaranteed. With automatic wire speed control and manual override the user selects the power setting and the wire speed sets automatically. To limit ‘down-time’ the reliable wire feed mechanism is top loading and the machine accepts both 5kgs and 15kgs spools for maximum portability and economy. The T196W Gas is supplied complete with a 3 metre professional euro-connecting torch with trigger-controlled power and gas to prevent undesired arcing and gas wastage. The unit has a heavy-duty case and chassis for added durability and reliability and is equipped with large bottle facility to give maximum economy. - Wheel mounted for convenience
