Combination augers can be used in either a hand or power drill at low speeds. Each one has a machine pitched screw point for an accurate start to drilling. The wide edge of this drill twist helps to maintain direction when drilling at an angle. The open spiral shape allows the fast removal of shavings so that entry is quicker.
Standard Length (200mm/8in) Combination Auger Bit Set. Suitable for use in hand brace or power drill. Precision machined from high quality carbon steel wide flat spiral for improved stability and straight tracking smooth hollow flutes to reduce clogging. Pitched screw point for positive start drilling spur and cutting edge ground and honed for clean cuts. Resharpenable with a file. Set contains 1 each:- 6, 8,10,13,16,19,22 and 25mm. Supplied in a aluminium case.
